First Bounty
I love the outdoors so much and have always wanted to plant a garden. Since we are renters, I decided to start a container garden so that I could take it with me if I needed to.
I got some pots and plants and started cucumbers, red bell peppers, tomatoes, jalepenos, cayenne peppers, rosemary, sage, thyme, oregano, lavender, blueberries, and cilantro. I also have roses, an aloe plant, some impatients and a lantana plant I brought back from the dead. I have a citronella plant and a few other varieties of flowers.
So far, besides the blooming flowers ( I am still waiting on the roses to show their pretty petals), I have cucumbers, cayenne and jalapeno peppers.
I use the basil and oregano a lot when cooking.
I see a few blooms on my tomato and my red bell pepper plants so hope to see some fruit from them soon.
It is so wonderful to be able to make your own fresh pesto or bite into a pepper or cucumber that you know wouldn't exist if you wouldn't have taken the time to plant and tend to it. It is such a joy to share in Mother Nature's Bounty and to be able to share it with others.
